Only a trained medical professional can diagnose alcoholism, and only a treatment program can provide the help you need to recover from this serious disease.
If You Answered “Yes” to Question #3
You might be an alcoholic if you continue to drink even though it’s causing problems in your life. For instance, you might keep drinking even though it’s making you late for work or school, or causing arguments with your family or friends. If you’re worried that you might be an alcoholic, talk to a doctor or other healthcare provider. They can give you a professional assessment and let you know if you need treatment.
